WCSD Students Compete in 4-H District Project Achievement

Worth County 4-H DPA Competition 2020

WCSD students recently competed in the SouthWest Georgia 4-H District Project Achievement at Rock Eagle 4-H Center in Eatonton. We are proud of the success of our students at 4-H DPA! 

To compete at DPA, 4-H'ers have to create a portfolio that includes their community service, leadership service, and other 4-H activities.  They then write and present a speech in their chosen project areas.  WCSD had thirteen students from grades 7 through 12 to compete. 
4-H Students that competed:  Esrie Jackson (12th), Lora Coxwell (12th), Gracie Howell (10th), Hannah Fletcher (10th), Mallory Burger (9th), Stephanie Bass (9th), Mandy Burger (9th), Annika Blech (9th), Megan Isdell (9th), Alexia Sokolowski (8th), Dakota Farmer (7th), Taylor Isdell (7th), Zoe Farmer (7th). 

Results:
1st Place Science: Dakota Farmer
1st Place Entomology: Taylor Isdell
2nd Place Individual Sports: Mandy Burger
3rd Place Individual Sports: Alexia Sokolowski
3rd Place Wildlife: Annika Blech
1st Place Housing: Lora Coxwell
1st Place Robotics: Hannah Fletcher

Lora Coxwell and Hannah Fletcher will move on to the state competition in Atlanta during July.
