Five Worth County Middle School students signed their commitment to being among the Class of 2024. Eighth graders Jalisa Crosby, Kaydence Harris, Jayshawn Clay, Brandon Cone, and Dayanara Mendoza are Worth County Schools' REACH scholars for 2019.
REACH (realizing educational achievement can happen) is Georgia's needs-based mentorship and college scholarship program providing these students the support to graduate from high school and achieve postsecondary success. These students must maintain strong grades, good attendance, good behavior, and remain drug/alcohol-free. Each scholar who completes all requirements receives up to $10,000 scholarship.
During the signing ceremony, the students, parents, community members, and Worth County Schools officials pledged to support the students until graduation.
