Welcome back! We hope that everyone had a great Spring Break. As we return from Spring Break, we turn our focus to the final two weeks of review prior to Georgia Milestone Testing. Testing will take place the week of April 24. Please view the presentation linked below for more information about the test. As educators and parents, we are challenged with finding that sweet spot between encouraging our kids to do their best; without creating unnecessary anxiety for our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students. Bottom line is that teachers, principals, schools and entire districts are judged based upon one week of testing so it is important. However, that one week of testing does not define your child. Your child, our student, is so much more than a test score! We just ask that you encourage your child to get the most out of the next two weeks and to simply do their best the week of testing. If you have any questions about GMAS testing, do not hesitate to contact us.
