Worth County High School FFA Member, Belle Pritchard recently placed 2nd of out 12 FFA Members competing from across Georgia during the State FFA Quiz Career Development Event (CDE). The event was held at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College on December 2, 2017. She qualified to compete at the state contest after placing 2nd of out more than 20 competitors in the Area FFA Quiz Career Development Event (CDE). Pritchard was recognized for her achievement during an awards ceremony on the day of the contest. She will be recognized again during the State FFA Convention held in April.
The FFA Quiz Career Development Event develops the abilities to apply the leadership and FFA history learned in the Basic Agriculture class while taking a 50 multiple choice question tests. This test also requires the use of parliamentary procedures skills.
