September is Attendance Awareness Month

Attendance Month

September is Attendance Awareness Month. Good attendance helps children do well in school and eventually in the workplace. Good attendance matters for school success, starting as early prekindergarten and throughout elementary school. By middle and high school, poor attendance is a leading indicator of dropout. Developing the habit of attendance prepares students for success on the job and in life. All students with perfect attendance for the month of September will receive a treat during their lunch on Thursday, September 21, 2017. All students with perfect attendance for the month of September will be placed in a drawing for 4 - $25 gift cards. The drawing will take place on Friday, September 22, 2017 during 6th period. Students MUST be present on Friday, September 22 to win. Each day we will recognize the Advisement classes that had perfect attendance that day.
